In your groups solve the following problems using the Z method.

2. Maria Fernanda and her sister got a new puzzle with lots of pieces. They started putting together the new puzzle at 4:05pm. They finished just before dinner at 7:55pm. How long did they take to complete the puzzle?

3. Luke started reading his new book at 11:40am. It was so interesting that he couldn't put it down. At 12:30pm. he finished reading the last page. How long did it take Luke to read the entire book?

4. Francisco D and Francisco P went to a football game together. The game started at 2:45pm and ended at 5:55pm. How long was the game?

5. Isabela started cleaning her room at 11:45am. She finished cleaning it at 12:25pm. How long did it take her to clean her room?

6. It was 12:50pm when Murillo started doing his homework.He finished at 13:55pm. How long did he take to complete his homework.

7. Soccer practice for Grade 5 boys started at 4:30pm and ended at 5:35pm.

8.Grade 5 girls decided to help at the library. They  started at 11:35am and finished at 1:05pm. How long did they work in the library?

9.Daniela and her sister got on the school bus  at 16:30pm and arrived home at 17:25pm. How long was the journey home?

10.Hanna started her math homework at 5:15pm. It took her 25 minutes to complete all the problems. What time was it when Hanna finished her math homework?
